How long does an application take?
About four minutes if you have your basic info handy. You can save your draft and come back any time — we keep it in your browser, not on our server.
How fast do you reply?
Within five business days, every time. Yes, no, or "let's talk." If you applied through a Skill Check link, often faster.
What's a Skill Check?
An optional, short, recorded task you do on your own machine to show how you actually work. Open-ended, real-world, usually about ten minutes. We use a small free app called LEAD that records your screen privately. The recording is shared only with the hiring lead.
Do I need to upload a resume?
It helps but isn't required. A LinkedIn or portfolio link is fine. We care more about how you think and what you've shipped than the formatting of a PDF.
Can I apply to more than one role?
Yes — submit once per role you're genuinely interested in. We can tell when someone is throwing applications at the wall, and it doesn't help your case.
What happens to my data?
It's used to evaluate your application — that's it. We never sell applicant data. You can request deletion any time at hello@cwleaders.com. See privacy for the full picture.
Is the role really hybrid in LA?
Most of our roles default to hybrid in Los Angeles, but we make exceptions for exceptional remote candidates. The position page tells you what's flexible.
Do you sponsor visas?
Sometimes, role-by-role. Tell us your authorization status in the form — we'll be honest about whether sponsorship is on the table for that specific role.
Can I refer someone?
Absolutely. Have them apply through MyHire and mention your name in the "Why CW Leaders" field. Good referrals get rewarded.
